Knee arthritis
Inflammation and deterioration at knee joint cartilage condition is called Knee arthritis. Usually the cartilage serves as a cushion and tolerates the knee to function smoothly like when needed to bend and straighten by its slippery coating on the ends of bone. Knee cartilage coats the end of the thigh bone (femur), top of the shinbone (tibia) and the backside of the kneecap (patella). Over time by age, damage in the joint cartilage may lead to the development or worsening of distortions of the knee, including knock knees and bowleg.

One must realise that cartilage loss cannot be reversed and there is no option available but there are others ways to treat or reduce the pain and can prevent further damage by surgical and nonsurgical treatment procedures.
